Fail: During online play, usually during a spectacular round of awesomeness, the screen goes black for about a half second followed by the title screen. It's as if there was a reset button a la original NES.

2. Mega Fail: During online play, usually when I'm having an epic round, the screen will freeze. As far as I can tell, the sound continues, but the game is other wise frozen. The only remedy in this situation is a hard restart.

The slim line version seems to be no more immune to the problems that plague the fatties. If it's simply a problem of more advanced and hardware-demanding graphics, then it would make sense to throttle back what is being delivered. A game with awesome graphics is not an awesome game when it can't be played.

I want mega awesome graphics so real that they induce PTSD as much as the next kid, but not as much as I want a game the can actually be played.

This is the modern day equivalent of blowing on the NES game cartridge for a half hour before Streets of Rage finally starts working, except I'm shelling out four times the cost for the privilege.teepshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09347834357218153524noreply@blogger.com
